Spring 2019

For the most part sawmills are carrying very high log inventories in our area and have curtailed accepting deliveries. Consequently, the surplus of logs, combined with a weak lumber market, has forced prices downward. Looking down the road, it is anticipated that prices will tick upward coming out of spring break-up, but it is unlikely the market will be as strong as 2018.
