B.S. in Forestry and Natural Resources from the University of California, Berkeley 2016
Background:
Elynn was born and raised on the central coast of California. She developed her love for the outdoors through camping, hiking and skiing in the mountains as a kid. She obtained her B.S. in Forestry and Natural Resources from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was an active member of the school’s forestry club and logging sports team.
After graduating in 2016, Elynn spent two years working for CAL FIRE as a forestry aide on the Soquel Demonstration State Forest in Santa Cruz County, CA. She moved to Sandpoint in 2018. Elynn is involved with a range of projects including forest inventory, forest management plans and wildland fire suppression.
