Wildfire Suppression Services
Inland Forest Management, Inc. has provided wildfire suppression expertise within the United States as well as overseas. In addition, the company has wildfire engines that have assisted in suppression efforts throughout the country.
Our wildfire suppression staff includes highly qualified engine crew members. All suppression personnel are properly red carded and trained in the Incident Command System (ICS).
Our wildfire suppression resources include the following fully staffed engines

Hazardous Fuels Programs
Inland Forest Management, Inc. provides coordination and supervision for numerous Wildland Urban Interface Fire Mitigation Programs including Boundary, Kootenai and Bonner, Idaho.
These programs are designed to help private property owners reduce the risk to life and property from the threat of wildfire by creating shaded fuel breaks near homes and businesses. Shaded fuel breaks involve work such as the thinning of small trees, cutting brush and pruning. These improvements are generally completed at no cost to the landowner.
These programs are part of the National Fire Plan legislation and utilizes federal grant money to complete the projects

2023 RT-130 Annual Fire Refresher Training Schedule
Date: June 6, 2023
Class Schedule: 8:30 – 12:30 (PST) classroom
12:30 to approx. 1:30 Work Capacity Testing
Due to predicted high temperatures, work capacity testing will be offered before the class.
Inland Forest Management will be offering the Annual Wildland Fire Refresher RT-130 (4 hour) training (in-person) on three different dates this year to try and accommodate everyone’s schedule.
All classes will be held in Ponderay, Idaho at the Ponderay Event Center (401 Bonner Mall Way, Suite E, upstairs above Selkirk Glass and Cabinet, near Sandpoint Furniture) unless otherwise noted.
Work capacity fitness testing (pack test or walk test) will be offered before the classroom portion of the class for those who need it. RSVP is required.
