Education:

BS Forest Management, University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, 1983

Background: 

Steve grew up in Wisconsin and gained a love for the forest while spending time in the outdoors with his grandfather as a young boy. Following graduation, Steve volunteered to the U.S. Peace Corps and spent two years working in the Philippines promoting agro-forestry projects. Upon returning to the United States, he worked seasonally for the U. S. Forest Service and as an independent contractor in the Inland Northwest. Since joining IFM in 1995, Steve has been involved in a wide range of projects including stewardship plan preparation, timber cruising and appraisals, and timber sale preparation and administration. Steve is also very knowledgeable about a variety of wildlife subjects.
